Julie + David engagments | Lake Charles wedding photographer

Julie & David, you guys were AWESOME!  All idea credit goes straight to David, who just knew they (well he) had to have their portraits made at a place that was special to them:  on hundreds of acres of his family property in Eunice, right in the middle of rice cutting season!  And… if that wasn’t COOL ENOUGH already, he had his dad and friend bring out those huge machines and ran them (terribly loud and TOTALLY AWESOME to watch) in the background.  WHAT.A.GREAT.IDEA!

Now… with this kind of “pressure”, you only really have a few moments to get the shot, and with little room for communication, they really really did great for our favorite images… Enjoy!

Can you say GALLERY WRAPPED CANVAS on this first one?!  How cool would that be?!  (Hint, Hint, David!)     ;)

I took a minute, or actually a few seconds (while these HUGE machines roared right behind him, inching closer to us every second – ahh) to get a few images of just David with… well, his family heritage and background, if you will.  Awesome.  I felt only then did we take FULL advantage of getting these monsters out there and running for their pictures!
